DR. JONATHAN FILIPPI

Jonathan Filippi obtained his Master’s degree in chemistry on April 2007 at the University of Florence then got his PhD in Chemical Sciences in 2012 in Florence. After the PhD he obtained a position at the Institute of Chemistry of Organometallic Compounds (ICCOM) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) in Sesto Fiorentino funded by a FIRB 2010 project, then in 2016 the position became permanent. His research activity are in the field of electrocatalysis, in particular for energy storage (electrolysis, CO2RR and fuel cells), Lithium batteries and critical materials recovery from EoL devices. He has published over 56 manuscripts (H index = 25) and 5 patents

DR. ALESSADRO LAVACCHI

Alessandro Lavacchi is a senior researcher at the Institute of Organometallic Chemistry of the National Research Council of Italy, where he also is the head of the Electron Microscopy Facility and the elected head of the Technology Transfer Center. His research focuses on the development and characterization of nanomaterials for electrochemical conversion and storage, with a focus on alkaline membrane electrolysis and biomass conversion in electrochemical devices. He co-authored more than 130 papers, mostly on energy materials, and the monograph ‘‘Nanotechnology in Electrocatalysis for Energy
